Meet Zoe

Portrait of Zoe, Neurodivergent, Somatic and Trauma-Informed Counsellor and Coach at Polaris Counselling Hub in Aberdeen

Hi I’m Zoe

I’m a Neurodivergent, Somatic and Trauma Informed Counsellor. I help overwhelmed adults who feel like they’re failing at being an adult, or failing at life, move from busy brains and burnout to calm, clarity and confidence.

So many of us live life stuck in our heads, constantly overthinking, feeling overwhelmed or struggling to find direction, yet always wondering “What next? What more could I be doing?” and relaxing can feel painfully uncomfortable!

This is where somatic work can transform your journey. By connecting with your body and learning to feel rather than just think your way through challenges, you can begin healing old wounds, shifting stubborn patterns and building deep self-trust. That then unlocks your life direction because you start living in a way which is more aligned with yourself, rather than focusing on what you should be doing, others’ expectations or masking to fit in. You start living life on your terms.

I offer a safe, understanding and conversational space. No awkward silences here, just exploring your story holistically. Working holistically means we’ll integrate what your body and brain are telling you, considering your past, your current experiences and the future you truly desire.

I’m a friendly, chill and empathic person. Bit of a geek, love learning and apparently funny sometimes too!
